Made with 100% locally harvested Senegalese Bissap Flowers. Thoroughly washed and dried in the shade. Considered very good for your health, it is an excellent source of vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
Enjoyed as Follows:
Bring water to desired warm temperature and add the dried bissap petals. Steep petals for 15 to 20 minutes and strain with a fine mesh strainer. Bissap is great just with added sugar but can easily be made a spiced-up drink By mixing in some ginger, cloves, allspice seeds, or even orange peels.
